The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce’s mission statement is to “support business and promote community.”  The organization is made up of hundreds of businesses and industry whose goal it is to promote Mitchell County and its economy.

The Chamber operates two locations in Mitchell County. The Mitchell County Visitor’s Center is located in the Museum of NC Minerals, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.  The Visitor’s Center greets over 200,000 visitors each year and provides them with information about the county. Administrative offices for the Chamber are housed in the Wylie Building in downtown Spruce Pine.

Chamber membership affords businesses increased exposure, networking opportunities, access to business seminars and workshops, listings in both the Chamber’s Directory and the Chamber’s new Website, as well as access to important County information.
